Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Plan2Dish (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Plan2Dish, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Plan2Dish, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide during registration, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@plan2dish.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. User-Generated Content

Plan2Dish lets you create and upload content such as recipes, family profiles, kitchen inventory items, grocery lists, uploaded photos (including fridge, pantry, and receipt images), and messages sent to Plan2Dish AI ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Plan2Dish a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

4. AI-Generated Recommendations Disclaimer

Plan2Dish uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, recipe suggestions, inventory categorizations, and other outputs. AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, and Plan2Dish makes no guarantee that AI-generated content will meet your specific needs.

5. Recipe and Nutrition Disclaimer

Recipes, ingredient information, nutritional estimates, allergen tags, and dietary tags in Plan2Dish are provided for general planning purposes only and are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Always verify ingredients against the packaging you have on hand, and consult a qualified professional for medical, allergy, or dietary decisions. Plan2Dish is not responsible for adverse reactions arising from the use of recipes or ingredient information in the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Plan2Dish name, logo, branding, software, design, and non-User-Content materials are owned by Plan2Dish and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license we grant you to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or the infrastructure supporting it.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or deceptive.
• Use Plan2Dish AI to generate content that violates our policies or applicable law.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.

8. Early Access

Plan2Dish is currently offered free during Early Access. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the product evolves. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plan2Dish and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends, and we may delete your User Content as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the state in which Plan2Dish is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to arbitration.
